Wedding Ceremony
Here we are, and I'm so ready to get cracking on your ceremony details!
To secure your date in my wedding calendar, please complete the five steps we discussed below:
1. First - Read the Terms and Conditions and Statement of Fees
Reading the Terms and Conditions before payment is a requirement. This is a verbal agreement. At this stage, you have agreed to book my services; therefore, continuing to pay the booking fee to hold your date indicates that you have read and agreed to all terms and conditions listed.
2. Make the booking fee payment
After paying your $300 non-refundable booking fee payment either by direct deposit or cash, your booking is confirmed for the agreed date or $370 if you would like your marriage certificate from BDM. Details are below.
If you would like me to apply for your marriage certificate, which I highly recommend, there is a $70 charge from BDM for this certificate. It is a legal document to prove that you are married. It will help with bank loans, visas, wills, etc. You do not have to change your surname, but this is the certificate you will need if you decide to do so. If you apply for this certificate, BDM will ask you for three forms of ID, and it will take up to 6 weeks. It will only take a week if I apply on your behalf. Easy!
3. Make the final payment no later than four weeks before your ceremony date
Your balance payment and any additional costs agreed upon, as per the statement of fees, will be invoiced separately via email and are due no later than four weeks prior to the ceremony.
NOTE
The ceremony fee for 2026 is $1,570, which includes the marriage certificate fee.
The rehearsal fee is $100, with additional costs possible depending on the distance travelled.
For 2026 bookings, these fees will remain the same but may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

-
Print out and fill in the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM) or we can do this together if you like with your ID documents. DO NOT SIGN IT. Your signatures have to be witnessed by me.
-
The Code of Practice is there for you to read. This is my work ethic to maintain a high standard of service in my professional conduct and practice as an Authorised Celebrant.
Note: I need to witness you signing and dating the NOIM.

-
an Australian Diplomatic Officer
-
an Australian Consular Officer
-
a notary public
-

5. Fill in the Wedding Questionnaire
This is your chance to share all the beautiful, funny, and meaningful parts of your story—the laughs, the love, the little quirks, and everything that makes your relationship yours. There’s no right or wrong way to answer—just be yourselves.
Think of this as a warm, easy collaboration. You bring your memories, your personality, and the moments that matter most, and I’ll gently shape them into something heartfelt, fun, and true to you both.
The end result will be a script that feels like a big, comforting hug—one that captures your journey, celebrates your connection, and sets the tone for the amazing life you’re building together.
Let's rock and roll!
