Your Investment

​Thank you for choosing me to be part of your wedding day.

Below is a simple breakdown of my fees, what's included, and any additional costs that may apply. My aim is to keep everything transparent, so you know exactly what to expect.

Booking Fee

Your booking fee secures your wedding date and allows us to begin planning your ceremony together.

Includes:

  • Reserving your wedding date and ceremony time

  • Lodgement of your Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM)

  • Commencement of your ceremony planning

Investment: $300

Please note: The booking fee is non-refundable.

Official Marriage Certificate

I highly recommend allowing me to apply for your Official Marriage Certificate from Births, Deaths and Marriages on your behalf.

This is the legal certificate you'll need if you choose to change your surname or require proof of your marriage for official purposes such as passports, banks, visas or wills.

Government Fee: $75

Ceremony Fee

Your remaining balance is payable no later than four weeks before your wedding day.

Investment: $1,500

Your Ceremony Includes

✔ A beautifully personalised ceremony written especially for you

✔ Preparation and completion of all legal marriage documentation

✔ Lodgement of all paperwork with Births, Deaths and Marriages

✔ Your commemorative Commonwealth of Australia Marriage Certificate

✔ Application for your Official Marriage Certificate (if selected)

✔ Unlimited support via phone and email throughout your planning journey

✔ One rehearsal at your ceremony venue or another agreed location

✔ Solemnisation of your marriage

✔ Professional PA system with quality sound

✔ Plenty of guidance, encouragement and support from beginning to end

Additional Rehearsals

Should you require additional rehearsals, these can be arranged.

Investment: $50 per rehearsal

Additional Time

If your ceremony extends significantly beyond our agreed timeframe due to circumstances outside my control, additional time may be charged.

Investment: $50

Travel

Travel is included for ceremonies within a 250 km return journey from my home.

Travel beyond this distance is charged at:

$1.00 per kilometre

I'll always discuss any travel costs with you before they're incurred.

Public Holiday Ceremonies

Ceremonies conducted on public holidays incur an additional fee.

Investment: $200

This includes:

  • New Year's Day

  • Australia Day

  • Good Friday

  • Easter Saturday

  • Easter Sunday

  • Easter Monday

  • ANZAC Day

  • King's Birthday (NSW)

  • Labour Day (NSW)

  • Christmas Day

  • Boxing Day

Additional Expenses

Where applicable, the following expenses are the responsibility of the couple:

  • Parking fees

  • Venue entry fees

  • Water taxis or ferry transfers

  • Taxi or rideshare fares

  • Venue hire

  • Costume hire

  • Accommodation

  • Car hire

  • Airfares

These will always be discussed with you before your wedding.

Competence to Marry

Australian law requires both parties to fully understand and freely consent to the marriage at the time the ceremony takes place.

If either party is affected by alcohol or drugs to the extent that they cannot legally provide informed consent, I cannot solemnise the marriage.

In this situation, I will conduct a symbolic commitment ceremony only.

Your legal marriage will then be completed at a later date through a Legals Only ceremony with two witnesses present.

Additional Investment: $600

This fee covers the preparation of new legal documentation and the performance of the legal ceremony.

Payment Policy

Your final balance must be paid no later than 30 days before your wedding date.

Should your wedding plans change, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss the options available to you.

Fee Policy

My fees are reviewed from time to time and may be subject to change before a booking is confirmed.

Once your booking has been confirmed, your agreed fees will be honoured unless changes to your ceremony significantly alter the services provided.

Should your wedding be postponed or cancelled, revised fees may apply depending on the new arrangements.

By proceeding with your booking, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted this Statement of Fees and agree to notify me promptly of any changes to your wedding arrangements.
