  • Venue hire charges

  • Accommodation

  • Airfares

  • Any other reasonable expenses required to perform the ceremony

Capacity to Marry

Under the Marriage Act 1961 (cth), I cannot legally solemnise a marriage if I reasonably believe that either party is unable to freely give informed consent due to the influence of alcohol or drugs.

If, in my professional judgement, either party does not have the legal capacity to marry at the scheduled ceremony, I may instead conduct a non-legally binding commitment ceremony.

A legal marriage ceremony will then need to be conducted at another time and location once both parties have the legal capacity to marry.

An additional fee of $800 will apply for the subsequent legal marriage ceremony.

Final Payment

All outstanding fees must be paid no later than 30 days prior to the wedding date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If changes to your ceremony affect the agreed services or fees, please notify me as soon as possible so an updated fee schedule can be provided.

Fee Policies

  • Prices are subject to change until a booking fee has been received.

  • Payment of the booking fee confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.

  • If your ceremony is postponed or cancelled, the original fee schedule may no longer apply and updated pricing may be applicable to the new ceremony date.

  • The couple agrees to notify the celebrant in writing as soon as reasonably possible of any changes to the ceremony details.
